Our Overhead Construction and Maintenance Lab is scheduled for June 1-4, 2026, at the AMEC training center annex. Enrollment is limited to 24 attendees. A copy of the program is available here.
This lab will benefit all apprentice linemen. Please review the agenda for training topic details. This lab will consist of a combination of classroom instruction and primarily field exercises. Participants should come prepared to work outside under various weather conditions. Pre-requisites for this lab are successful completion of the Lineman Fundamentals and Climbing Certification Lab or Climbing Certification from a recognized agency or authority. Participants attending this lab should bring body belt, pole climbers, long sleeve shirts, hand tools, hard hats, safety glasses and rain gear.
