We have scheduled a Fiber Safety & Awareness Training for October 26-28, 2026. The course will be held at the AMEC training center and will be instructed by AMEC and Co-Mo Electric Cooperative personnel. The course will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 26th, and adjourn at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28th. A copy of the program is available here. NOTE: Enrollment is limited to 40 attendees.
The registration fee is $350 per person which includes course fees and lunch on Tuesday. Attendees need to bring a hardhat and safety glasses.
We have a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott, 610 Bolivar, Jefferson City, phone 573-761-1400. The room rate is $149 Single/Double. When making your room reservations, use the block code AME. You can also go online to make your room reservation. The cut-off date for rooms is October 3rd.
