Our Equipment Operation Apprentice Lab is scheduled for May 4-7, 2026, at the AMEC training center annex. Enrollment is limited to 24 attendees. A copy of the program is available here.
This lab is optional and not required for AMEC journeyman certification. However, it is highly recommended for any employee because OSHA and ANSI guidelines state that only personnel who have received instruction regarding the inspection, application and operation of equipment shall be authorized to operate said equipment. Participants attending this lab should bring hard hat, safety glasses, and leather gloves.
