The Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives is a statewide organization representing Missouri’s 47 electric co-ops, such as the one which may provide power to your home or business. We don’t generate electricity. Instead, AMEC provides needed services to the co-ops which do. Since our founding in 1937 our mission has been to provide a means for electric cooperatives to work together and accomplish things collectively that they could not do as effectively or efficiently on their own . . .
